The Hotel Orient is the earliest surviving, 19th century (1875), hotel in central Brisbane still 
offering accommodation and is amongst the longest licensed hotels in Brisbane. Despite numerous refurbishments, the hotel retains its 1875’s charm and street scape presence. The Orient marks the junction of the Brisbane’s Central Business District and Fortitude Valley Entertainment precinct and is located on the main street of Brisbane.
The most recent chapter in the Hotel Orient’s ever changing story has seen a breath of new life into all three floors without compromising the heritage feel of the old brick pub.
Today, the Hotel Orient provides casual dining and bar on the ground floor, dining & function rooms on the first floor and hotel accommodation on the second floor. Proudly offering quality service across all three floors, the Orient guarantees a warm welcome coupled with a cold beverage.
The pub style accommodation has been recently renovated and each room now has new bathrooms, flat-screen TV’s and reverse-cycle air conditioning.

Smoking within the entire hotel is not permitted. An additional cleaning charge may be payable if a guest is found to be smoking in a room.
